Liners on BM Ritter RSK MK1 vs. mini RSK MK1 ?

I picked up the BM Ritter RSK MK1 a few weeks ago to compliment the mini version I've had and loved for a while...

I noticed that the liners on the full size version only cover ~1/2 of the handle scales, whereas the liners on the mini version cover almost the entire handle

This makes the full size MK1 have a more plastic/hollow feel than the solid feel of the mini.

? Anyone else see/have this issue ?
? Is this the case with other Griptilians ? (i'd like to get both mini and full size Grips soon)

Just curious, as it makes me like the full size version a little less (or maybe i got a faulty one and can return it?)

Any info/insight/guidance will be helpful

My first new thread, so please be gentle!

Cheers!

No this has been a gripe made by many. If you really love the knife, google Cuscadi, a company that makes after market scales. Great quality, a little pricey though. But if you were planning on buying a few of those knives, it might be worth it.

Welcome to the forum.

The RSK Mk1 handles are no different to other knives in the Grip range.

I can see past the "clackiness" of the full sized knife and appreciate a very strong and practical folding knife.
