Made this for my bro in law who works for Comed. It was kind of a pain in the butt and still has some scratching on the bevels. Would probably do a lot of things different next time.

Perfect! Don't worry about the scratches, it'll be scratched to hell in a week hanging off his canvas bucket. Leaving the handles short of the lanyard hole is how every linemans knife should be.

Thanks and greetings fellow hawk fan. Do you use these? My concerns were that it ended up kinda heavy and is pretty thick blade material which in turn makes the short bevels fairly quick in a hurry behind the edge. I'm thinking the blade may not bite once it dulls so he's gonna have to keep it sharp.
