All this talk of the 2010 forum knife has me excited. I thought it would be nice to have a thread showing all the past forum knives. We can update it as new knives come along.

Here's the inaugural model, the 2006 BFC ring knife -

Wow, you guys have selected some beauts in the past! I really like he cannitler. Personally I like the 2010 selection the best, maybe just sour grapes, though, as I was not around to get in on any of the previous ones.

Nice selection indeed, thanks.

Could we have release numbers for each year? Last year's Barlow seems to have been a big run, but I suspect that this year's may exceed it! A sign of Traditionals' appeal.

Don't quote me on this, but these are the numbers I have.

2006 - 43 ring knives
2007 - 57 cannitlers
2008 - 50 stockmen
2009 - 113 barlows
2010 - 131 moose

Thanks kamagong,

2009 is 113 barlows.

Thanks Gus.

I wonder if in fifty years or so future knifenuts will be looking for production numbers for these BFC Traditional Forum Knives. I can just see someone searching far and wide for a nice, minty specimen of the 2006 ring knife to complete his collection.

Here is my group to date! I might sell mine in 50 years, Kamagong; you never know!!??
I'm only 65 . . . . . .

Great looking knives! I like them all, but the 08 Stockmen is my favorite.

Thanks for the pics:thumbup:

Every time someone posts a pic of last year's Barlow, I grind my teeth. That knife really hits my sweet spot, and it had just closed or was closing before I joined here. I was reading several other forums (as I do on every subject I am interested in!) and just missed it.

Damn! Sure would like to have had that one.

It's my one and only Forum knife, but, soon it will have company:D
Very nice small slicer and I got some good stag on mine. Same frame as the Queen Cutlery Serp Jack.

There certainly have been a good variety in the Forum range. Peanut? Uh uh, next time it will be a Teardrop:D:thumbup:

Don't worry, you're not alone. That is IMO the nicest one so far. Should've taken the one I saw on the exchange when I had the chance.

Misery loves company.

That Barlow is the one I hate missing the most, followed by the Cannitler. They are all great looking knives.
