Hello all,
just picked up my Linger WSK from O-1 steel, and the sheath that came with it has a small cut in the mouth of the sheath, about an inch long, (looks like someone missed putting the knife in straight), anyway anyone know if this can be repaired?
if not anyone know of Kydex sheath makers for WSk's....
I would like one that has a small pouch attached to it for survival items.
any help appreciated...

also on the certificate of authenticity it says no Sub-zero quench....
is that an option or just not needed with O-1 steel or??
did a search and can't come up with much.

Thanks all

Chris

Would you happen to have pictures of the sheath? We've done 2 Linger WSK sheaths now so I might be able to help you out or offer some suggestions. It would really depend on the type of sheath, but my guess is that this is just a cosmetic problem. Either way, a picture would really help.

Who made the sheath for it? I just received my Linger WSK also and hedgehog made the sheath for it and it seems like some tough stuff and would not be easy to cut, in my opinion. Im sure there are plenty of sheath makers that can make one for your WSK. As far as the sub zero quench I am not at all experienced in, but I am pretty sure you do not need it with O1. my knife seems just fine without it.
Hope this helps

Mike

Roger Sub-zero quenches all his knive I believe except the WSKs because the are to big to fit his Sub-zero quenching vat. I believe that is what he said when I asked him about it. You might give him a call and ask him or maybe he'll chime in here as he often does. Good luck with the sheath issue.

Hi Chris,
feel free to send me an email anytime; I'd be happy to help/ offer some suggestions. So far we've done 2 sheaths for Roger's WSKs. The pictures of the first one really didn't come out that good and the 2nd sheath I finished in such a hurry that I couldn't take pictures at all. The sheath pictured from Mike above is the 2nd one we made. The good news is that we have 2 WSKs on the way and I will be sure to take plenty of sheath pictures before shipping them back out. We could certainly do a pouch as a custom upgrade; drop me a line and we can figure out all the details.

Talk to you soon,
Paul
