As I make a new knife, I want to make a custom box for presenting it to the client. A recent knife that I made included a box, featuring chip-carved initials of the recipient, but all I could think about using to hold the knife and line it was styrofoam with the profile of the knife cut into the foam and then covering it with suede material. My problem was that when I used white glue, the glue did not set up, but using a hot glue gun melted the styrofoam. I finally got something to work, but it is not what I wanted to achieve. Does anyone have any suggestions? What would be the best materials for shaping the contour of the knife that would not melt? Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance..........Rodney
