<a href="http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j283/mhawg/KNIFE%20SALES/Fbmcg_snk-blk_COMBO_2.jpg" target="_blank">Full size knife photo</a>

Why doesn't this appear as Full size knife photo and link to the photo? I see it done in the forum but I can't make it work for me.

You are copying the third line under your Photobucket picture: HTML Code. You need the fourth line: IMG Code.

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code

Instead of
<a href="http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j283/mhawg/KNIFE%20SALES/Fbmcg_snk-blk_COMBO_2.jpg" target="_blank">Full size knife photo</a>

you want to use (remove spacing inside IMG brackets)
[ IMG ]http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j283/mhawg/KNIFE%20SALES/Fbmcg_snk-blk_COMBO_2.jpg[ /IMG ]

Fbmcg_snk-blk_COMBO_2.jpg

No, no. I want it to be like your NJKCA link which looks like ( </font><a href="http://www.jerzeedevil.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=28" target="_blank"><font face="Comic Sans MS">N J K C A</font></a><font face="Comic Sans MS"> ). That keeps such a large file from slowing down the page .

When you click the 'insert link' above, a pop-up box appears... paste your link and click 'ok'... You should see the link twice... the first time black on white background, the second white on black background. In the second link area, just type your link name, i.e. "full size knife photo".

Full size knife photo

Doing it is one thing... trying to explain it w/o causing confusion... is another! :o

Hit 'quote' on my post to see how it's supposed to look in the text box. :)

Hope this helps ya!

It should look like this... FULL SIZE IMAGE

...to get this... FULL SIZE IMAGE
