I just thought I'd link this. Kinda neat example imo showing how Buck and Schrade kept trying to leverage off of each others marketing.

I only own two Buck's: this one and a 112.

I seem to recall seeing an analysis, or comparison done by the guys (including Henry Baer) at Schrade on the 110. I may have it here, but it'll take some searching. What I remember is how they said the steel on the lockbar was soft so that it would wear evenly with the tang, or something to that effect. All details that I'd never dream of if I were to build a knife.
