I post very rarely now, but I do still visit and lurk :)

I also had a message sometime ago about my old photos going down due to Apples transition to iCloud, so I have uploaded some to an Album here: http://s296.beta.photobucket.com/user/I_AM_LATE/library/Custom Cutlery

Over the past few years I have stopped collecting large fixed blades, they just became too complex to fit into my mobile life  Below are images I have taken of the last few that I have, soon to appear on a sales board near you. ;)

I have also added at the end of the thread an example of what my current collection is focused on, just as rewarding as the fixed blades, but a lot more transportable and authority friendly!

If you are interested and look to the link above you will see how my photo style has changed over time, and here I need to give a nod to the likes of Coop, Buddy T, Chuck Ward et al for their inspirational images and tips.

Cheers

Stephen

AWESOME collection displayed in the Photobucket folder Stephen.

I like the direction your collection has taken, but it must have been difficult to part with many of those fixed blades!

Thanks for posting the pictures,
Peter

Stephen, good to know you're still around. No wonder you're almost out of your fixed blades, there are some real beauties among them. Great looking slipjoint too.

A few of those look vaguely familiar...

I like the way the collection is moving.
Great photos, as always.

Your considered and experience-laden contribution to these Forums is sorely missed, as is your beaming smile at Blade.

Look forward to seeing you again.

Nice knives, that Andrews is always appreciated, the Kawamura knives are quite fine as well.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

What Steven said goes double for me. Still remember standing shoulder to shoulder with both you guys at Dan Farr's table many Blades ago.

I hope you will continue to share the "new" with us. I remember each of those old ones quite well.

Terrific job on that last photo.

Nice seeing those again, especially the Filiciettis. The guy was headed for the top at one time.
