When I wanted to post some pictures this site asked for a URL. On other sites I am allowed to select the picture from a file on my computer. How can I do it? Thanks, Don

I'm not sure what the allowance is for registered members, with regard to attachments; but the procedure is pretty much the same on vBulletin sites. When making your post, look at the icons site the text box. Click on the one that looks like a picture of the tree, then select the file.
The number of attachments you'll be allowed is quite limited; so find a picture hosting site that you like (ie photobucket), and use the IMG code provided.

Posting Pictures - Photobucket

Open a free account at www.photobucket.com (or some other free web-hosting site)

"Upload" pictures from your computer/device to your Photobucket account using Photobucket "Upload" button in top tool bar and then the "Choose" button.

This last will take you to your Windows Picture page where you "open" a picture to upload it to PhotoBucket.

When the bar has filled, the picture is uploaded.

Left click on the small image of the picture that appears.

To the right of the large image that will now appear, left click on the bottom "IMG" link. This is the "cut" step in Windows "cut and paste."

Go to your post here at BladeForums and Paste" the link in your post.

Save you post.

Better pictures help get better info.
