Links to other threads issue

Every time I select a link to another thread from within a thread I get this:

YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED MEMBER

(or if you are a registered member, you are not logged in)

Since are not logged in, you can only view the following forums / sections:

General Discussion Forum
Shop Talk
For Sale Areas
Community Center

All other areas require that you register a standard account (FREE) to view the content. You can see the thread titles of the other forums to see what you are missing, but if you want the juicy, juicy content, you have to register - again registration is FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE so hurry up and join the forums.

Getting this message over and over after logging in? Check the FAQ entry on this here.

For Sale: Gadgets & Gear (Individual) Non knife related products only.

This is funny (and slightly annoying) as I have to be signed in to access the threads that link to the new one. It still lets me read the thread (but not post), so I don't get it. BTW it has occurred since the server change for me.

Just wanted to put this out there for you.

I tried to explain in THIS THREAD how there are several "mirrors" of the Bladeforums site.

One is www.bladeforums.com (with the www),
another is bladeforums.com (without the www),
and another still is 216.26.177.84 (the actual IP address of this site).

If someone posts a link to a version of the site other than the one you are logged into, then you will get the "You are not logged in" message. The simplest solution to this is to log into all three and remember to click the "Remember Me" button.

Interesting, I'll be sure to remember that as I had the same issue a few days ago
