Links within Forums, minor bug

Logged in and clicking on a link to post with the Forums, I had to log in again to follow the link. Second log in did it, tried to repeat the bug and couldn't.

What was the link?

I log in to https://www.bladeforums
If I follow a link to https://bladeforums (no www) I would have to log in again. Vice versa, I assume.

My dumb, it's the link in this post which goes to another post in Current Events. I was logged in, seeing my avatar and no ads, clicked on the link in this post which went to the page "you must be logged in to use this function etc." Logged in again on that page and went to the linked post. Tried to repeat the bug and couldn't, link worked.

I've noticed something odd, and am somewhat curious. (hopefully, I can explain it clearly) When I log onto BladeForums, I use the url: https://www.bladeforums.com/ Sometimes, a member will post a link to a page here that doesn't have the www, starting with https://bladeforums.com/ Clicking...

Notice that the link in that post does not include "www" in the url.
