Hey everyone, here's a design I came up with and am going to start a batch of these very soon. I'm giving y'all the chance to get in on this batch and to have a say in your own handle material and other little design options.
This design is called "Droppy" because of the drop point design and smaller shape. Fantastic performance and a great size to EDC for any task. I really like this design and am super excited to start making these!
All of the making of these knives will be done at my shop and depending on how many I make, should be finished in January if not possibly before Christmas. I am expecting to start making these within the next couple weeks.
The price for each of these is super affordable $250 with a $100 deposit upfront for overhead costs. Special handle material will cost extra
I WILL BE IN COMMUNICATION WITH YOU THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS AND WILL NOT SEND OUT ANY KNIFE THAT YOU ARE NOT 100% PLEASED WITH!
HERE ARE THE SPECS FOR THE DESIGN:
These will be made out of .110 AEB-L Steel
HRC: 60-61
Partial Flat grind with a nice satin finish.
OAL: 8.23 Inches
Blade Length: 4 Inches
Handle Length: 4 Inches
Two 1/4 inch pins or corby bolts with West systems epoxy.
Includes a custom kydex sheath with rivet spacing for any standard clip.
HERE ARE THE CUSTOMIZABLE SPECS: (Prices vary for the handle materials)
Choose your own handle material- I can outsource many materials for an extra price and I also have a good variety of materials depending on what you're looking for. Wood, synthetic, micarta, or GripX are all great options for this design
Choose if you want a swedge or not- I can leave this off if preferred or I can add a false swedge- or I can even sharpen this up and make it perfectly usable for you!
Choose if you want Corbys, G10, or Brass pins. I can do Stainless or Titanium Corbys and several different color G10 Pins depending on your style. Brass is standard.
