Lion Spy spyderco lion steel colaboration

I have already contacted my dealer . . . I need two of those at least :D Is it really Elmax? That would rock.

yes as far as i can tell its elmax steel!! dont have any info on when it will be available but its gone from not knowing about it to the top of my gotta have it list.

Oh but for the love of God... what is spyderco trying to do to me this year? I need a part time job just to keep up with them this year.

Manix in CPM M4
Paramilitary in CTS 25
Manix in CTS B75P
Military in CTS XHP....

And now this????

As I said on the Spyderco forums, one of the biggest attractions that the Lionsteel SR-1 had for me is gone, the one-piece machined titanium handle.

It would have pushed the price right up there with the SR-1. Why not just buy the SR-1 then and smile again?

I generally love me some spydies, but for some reason I'm not feeling this one. Strange....

Well I won't totally discount it until I've held it, but I'm definitely not rushing to get on the pre-order list.

Considering I already have the SR-1, I don't feel an incredible urge to buy this one. It's like my SR-1, but machined out of 2 pieces of titanium, with a different(hard to say if it's "better") steel, and a spyderhole.

What I would actually like to see would be a much slimmer model, like maybe Para2 kind of slim.

I'm feeling it pretty hard, but I wish it had the monolithic handle as well. I'm trying to avoid the whole 'preorder shuffle' like the Para 2 sprint put us all through, so I really hope it's not a limited Sprint run.

Anybody know for sure?

Spydie Hole:D

Aww...:(
It might be one of those folders that just grows on you after holding it and carrying it around for a week or so. That happened to me with the Stretch. At first sight, no thanks. I bought one and after a couple days it won me over. Besides, ELMAX is awesome steel and I bet Gianni & Sal made it wicked good.

was posted in the spyderco forum, from Lion Steel owner the the front side is made of G10. So it's not an all titanium frame knife
