Lion Steel SR1 Folder - any good for skinning?

As per title... anyone out there using one in the field? Thinking I might replace my fixed skinner with a folder, like the shape of the SR1, but curious to know if it works in that role. Cheers!

The blade stock is quite thick, so I believe it won't be suited too well for skinning. Lionsteel markets the sr1 more as a hard use folder.
