Just received this from Ancient Sul. It is a J.W. Smith folder called the Juggernaut. It is an awesome knife! The blade is a leaf shaped dagger with a recurved top and bottom, though only the bottom edge is sharpened. The blade also forms a double guard and can be activated by a flipper or the thumbdisc. Fit, finish, action, and lockup are vintage Smith, meaning they are as good as it gets! The carbon fiber handles have been bead blasted which really enhances their gripibility, and also look surprisingly good at the same time.

I admit when I first saw a picture of it I wasn't real sure as it is a bit radical for what I am used too. But the more I looked at it the better it begin to look until finally I could bear it no longer and had to make the deal! Glad I did as the knife is excellent. It is one of the coolest folding dagger designs I have ever seen.

Liong has a lot of intimidating designs! It is quite cool though.

Liong also sent me a Larry Davidson Dreadnaught. You want to talk about BIG. This is a hand full of knife and feels it. At close to 10 ounces though it should. It has thick liners, thick bolsters, thick handle slabs, and thick blade. The blade is a scimitar shape and the way it is sharpened it makes for a reverse hook that would cut effectively coming and going. The coolest thing is the grooved handles and bolster. They feel super good in the hand. But alas it must go back as I am officially broke now. But who knows what the future holds.......:eek: :cool: :D :)

Yeah great looking design.., and innovative. For me.., many of the designs are simply about 15-20% to big in overall scale.., but that's just me....very nice piece!
