Lionsteel black blade coating question

I understand the black coating on the M7 is a chemical process, not a coating.

How easily does it rub off, or is it more like a blueing process?

I'm thinking long-term corrosion resistance, perhaps the black M7 might be better than the satin M7.

Your thoughts? I love the look of my satin finish M7, but want to keep it that way as much as possible.
