I got an email from Collector Knives announcing the LIONSTEEL CAPLIFTER BARLOW!

Who else is looking forward to getting one? Also, who has pictures of the different handle scale options? I'm especially interested in Ram's Horn and Stag. Thanks!

I think this will be my first early reserve. First choice - micarta, second - ebony wood. The CK website has pictures of all the materials on different knives if you do some searching.

I reserved an Ebony. So classy looking. This one definitely has a good shot at some pocket time.

The Ram's Horn I looked at seemed pretty plain without much character so, I was hoping to see some more samples. Also, the scale options are more limited.

Ebony is tempting but, I'm waiting to see more examples of Ram's Horn and Stag.

The ram's horn I've seen on Lionsteel knives has quite a bit of variation, but the darker examples are (to me) absolutely fantastic. For a stag example, look at the CK02 blades, there are a couple on there.

Here is a rams horn lionsteel knife I got recently. This side looks really cool since it is multicolored, and if you look closely you can see some translucent parts.

The other side of the knife has much less character.

So excited. Ram's horn is probably my favorite cover material, with ebony a second. Fingers crossed for both being available!
