Does anyone else find that LionSteel has the strongest lock bar tension around? My HEST 2/F and SR1 thwack harder into place than any other frame lock I've experienced. Once I worked the stickyness out of the HEST one hand closing with either hand is no problem. But left handed I can't get that lock bar over enough on the SR1, right handed is doable but that bar is strong.

Yes the lionsteels I handled at blade show this year had some serious lock bar tension. The only knives I remember having more, are Medford knives. Those are pretty rediculous knives, but I think it's a sweet rediculous.

Carrying my sr today. Its got good tension, not too much if you ask me. I love my sr though ,its one of my favs

Just want to be clear that I'm not complaining. Just impressed with with the lock bar tension especially when compared to the competition. I think the SR1 may be my favorite production folder, the knife is just awesome.

I haven't handled an SR1 but my lionspy has the stiffest lock bar of all my frame locks (SMF, Umnumzaan, ZT301).

I've handled the aluminum and titanium sr1's, they both have very stiff lock bars, which I personally like.

I am liking the all black titanium version, and usually I don't go with all black anymore, but this one just looks right! I wonder how the PVD coating stacks up to something like the DLC coatings?
