LionSteel M7 's field use, let's see some action from owners here eh?

Nice to see my favorite-looking knife actually being used! Thank you for posting this.

That is a fantastically-produced video, you did an awesome job. Do you do video work for a living?

Well done sir.

Hi, thanks for the comments, caught me out LOL!. Yep I'm a professional wildlife and scientific camerman. If I can I try and film knives when I'm done with the wildlife stuff. Used to work as a software editing trainer for Apple as well.

I hope to see some more vids from people who have the M7, deliberated a long time before parting with the goulash for this one LOL!

Wow fcc, excellent video, excellent review,I have a few of Mollettas designs back when he was involved with mckf, they are what got me interested in chopper style knives.
Yeah I think they definitely have their place ,on the rattle of the knife would it be possible to make a small leather/rubber insert that you can wedge to minimize movement, the sheath on that looks excellent would hate to see the knife not used because of noise.great job fcc

Hi thanks for the comments re the video. Yeah I reckon so, an insert would work. I was being a bit mean about not taking it out hunting with me but If I did I would damp that rattle. I'm not concerned with any scratches the kydex might make if it was tighter fit.

Very good video, awesome job. I was very happy to see it.

Some points on the sheath:

- The sheath is born with the extra retention strap. The purpose of it is also to keep the knife more fixed inside the sheath. Why did you take away it before shake the knife? of course it have more joke.
- This sheath is for right and left hand users. You can reverse the kydex sheath in order to use it with left hand. Of course you have to reverse also the extra retention strap. It means that you have to reverse the extra retention only if you reverse the kydex, other way it do not work like you discovered.
- you are right on the scratches, this knife must be used. the problem is that not all the customers have our opinion. they want a perfect knife, but with kydex it is difficult if you do not left some space.

Hi Gianni, glad you liked the video! thanks for your nice comments too. I took away the retention strap because I found it was coming off all the time I released the knife. Quite often I spent some time looking around camp for it (lucky it's black so it really stood out on river rocks LOL) Anyway this happened on numerous occasions. I thought maybe I did not have it secured properly with the press stud but I did. Anyway, for me the M7 is held securely enough with the Kydex sheath as is. Thanks for the heads up re the reversing of the strap i will make a note in my description to correct what I say here. Apologies there. Yes I couldn't care less about scratches I buy a knife to use not to stick on a wall.

If you would like to use the video please feel free.
I very much like the design.

Really enjoyed your video.

Felt like I was right there with you.

Hi thanks for saying so and glad you liked the vid. There are more coming up regarding the M7 as I show the knife being used in a completely different environment, something which I feel is important to show.

Post as many vids on the M7 as you can! :)

I'm seriously wanting this one, but it will be the most I've spent on a knife to date.

Your vids are great, quality is amazing, (a shot of a creek from one of yours, is now my Galaxy tablet homescreen) :) and you cover knives that don't get a lot of English speaking youtube vids.
