On their own website using lionSTEEL's new 'Configurator' to make your own Barlow, was just totally wooed by this one.......6 weeks to wait, but look forward to it.

Am impressed by these folders, they have an honesty and simplicity to them - let alone the excellent fit n finish for the money - that is very satisfying. Sure, they're not the standard and traditional build method, yet they possess a very nice character straight out the box.

- the Configurator is easy to use.........too easy

Looking forward to their Best Man folder too - yet more temptation...

Mmmh not Blonde at all but a nice dark one!:)

When I contacted them-about securing Dark Ram's Horn (for the Roundhead)-I got a friendly reply saying you can state your wishes and they'll make it accordingly . But now I'm getting jittery:eek: I've got a nice Blonde Roundhead but need a textured Brunette too.

.......if it works both ways, Will - we can always arrange a swap ;)

That’s gorgeous. My tastes if given the choice, would lead me to this one. Congratulations Paul.

- cheers, Harvey

Trouble is, these are such good vfm and so easy to order, I may yet be asking them for the blonde as well

I prefer the Spear blade, but what I very much like about these knives is that you get a decent enough size but much less weight than a conventional Tradition. The build quality is excellent, and no corrosion issues either...;)

- agreed  It somehow has a balance both aesthetically and in-the-hand that I prefer out of all, though the Bolus is rather good too.

Sad thing is though, the 'collector' gene in me kicks in.........and I can't resist to buy and play with them all

Very cool! I never noticed their configurator, and I have been stalking their website hoping the war horse or best man 2-blades were ready and my email was just throwing the newsletters into the spam. The Dom is a great knife, but I really the war horse as I can't help but be a 2-blade slippie kind of guy. The sheeps on these is also quite pointy and I think it's darn near perfect as an EDC blade, for me at least. I wouldn't hate to see a little fixed blade version either.

Thank you bikerector bikerector !

Yes, their bestMAN version is now out.........we can buy it in UK from our main knife retailer at a wee bit less than lionSTEEL's own website ;) For a 2-blade edc, they are superb vfm too, great fit n finish for the pricepoint

Paul, I've seen that acronym twice in the last two days. Might as well go ahead and ask and get it over with. What does vfm stand for?
