Lionsteel SR1 Damascus

I have been looking at the SR 1 in damascus online and want to ask opinions on favorites between the Raindrop and the Lizard pattern. I am leaning toward the Lizard. Any thoughts on either?

They're both made by the same outstanding damascus forger (Chad Nichols) using the same steels. The only difference is the pattern itself, so just go with whichever you think looks cooler/more beautiful/etc. :thumbup:

I've also been looking at the SR-1 in damascus steel. I have the blue SR-1, but the damascus is so nice looking, and the Chad Nichols stainless damascus steel seems to get good reviews. I still wonder how it stacks up against the non-damascus blade steels of today.

Oh yeah, I'm looking at the Raindrop pattern and loving what I see.
