Has anyone ever used a product called Liguid Bearing knife lube on their Kershaw/ZT's. The ad says it's 100% synthetic.
Is this stuff any good?

I don't like using wet lubes on my folders.

I started off using Graphite powder lubes, but they have a tendency to gum up and get messy when wet, so I have recently moved on to a product called Lab Lube. Its a PTFE ( Teflon ) powder lube. It doesn't gum up. You just puff a little bit into the pivot, move it around, and then blow it out with some compressed air. I used a can of computer "duster". Works great. I find that it works especially well on KVT and IKBS knives.

When I absolutely HAVE to use a wet lube, I have generally found that the best lube for knives generally seems to be the high end lubes made for fishing reels ( i.e. Hot Sauce, etc ) Abu Garcia makes a really good PTFE reel lube in a grease form that I sometimes use on my heavier duty hard use type folders.

Just my $0.02.

Haven't heard of LB, but it sounds interesting

I like Nano Oil, use it on all my folders in a very dry and dusty area of the country, no problems whatsoever.

^ This! Nano-oil is great! On knives, guns, and flashlight threads. Your knife will open like butter!

Another vote for nano oil. I've used many different oils on my knives. I found out about nano 10w oil here and I can not say enough good about it. It instantly smooths out every knife I put it on.

I need to get me some nano oil, Im experimenting with the rem drilube right now. Seems to slow things down at first, until it wears in a little and gets slick.

im totally different. I prefer grease. My favorite being militec grease. For me any liquid tends to not stay where I want it. Even regular militec-1 tends to get on my lockbar face gumming things up. Grease IMHO provides a lubricant that stays put and provides the smoothest action. Mind you i said smoothest, not fastest. Liquids usually provide less "stiction" but can feel jittery especially in knives that have a reduce amount of ball bearings in a captive washer. IKBS with having bearings around every single point around the pivot tend to be a little more forgiving with lubricant choice. I use my knives but they dont see extreme amounts of dirt so I dont worry about the bearings getting gunked up. In many cases with newer pivot designs its pretty hard for dirt to find its way in there. I can see where the benefits of a dry lube would come in but I just havent found one that I like. As far as the Liquid bearings lube addressed It looks very much like militec yet could be completely different. Despite even my strong preferences to militec grease I have to admit its probably more due to it being what ive used for a long time and am comfortable with. I dont think its really because any one lubricant works that much better than another. I would recommend trying militec. Mainly because if you contact them they will send you a sample tube of the liquid and the grease free of charge. Ive been using the same samples they sent me for a year now on all my folders. I probably wont break into the bottle I actually bought for another year.

^^ If you like grease lubricant....try sentry solutions hi-slip grease. Its AMAZING!

Does anyone like White Lightning? It's a wax lube in a solvent carrier, originally a bicycle chain lube (which you can still get at the big WM). I used to use it exclusively on my EDC Kershaw Wild Wild Turkey and several of my other knives, and it seemed to to a pretty good job.

Is Nano-oil ok if your using your knife for food processing? That's one reason I like mineral oil..totally safe for food.
