Liquidmetal technology?

I need a 'clean' copy of that issue pronto...I had it and gave it away to a fellow forumite here (Keith?)

It turns out that Edna collects Ron Clark knives, has the original prototype for the model #10, and if not the LM model #10 on the cover there, an identical twin...

Please, help me keep my butt outta hot water; someone send me that issue (Blade Magazine, May 2003?) before Edna realizes that I gave it away...

Thanks in advance!

Mel

p.s. It looks like the LM product has promise!

She collects Ron Clark? Has she seen this? Pic and pic #2

One of my purchases from Blade West. :D

Back on topic. LiquidMetal is a non-ferrous alloy that can be ground or even cast into knives or a million other things. AFAIK, it is largely titanium and is very lightweight.

Hey I remember us playing with that knife over lunch with Ron and Tom Mayo at Blade West on Saturday! So yes, she has...lol

When did you get it, on Saturday afternoon, or Sunday?

Not bad for R.W.'s first folder eh? ;)

Lucky you!

Mel

p.s. Edna snapped a few pics of Tom and Ron going over the knife, with Tom giving a few design pointers along the way...if you'd like, I'll shoot them your way?

Thanks for the prompt response...upon reflection, I think our original copy went to a forumite from Nebraska...

On a side, the good Mr. Wray Harrison has offered us his copy free of charge...

Thanks guys!

Shel

p.s. Steve, will send photo's now...
