Here is another great example of the talents of Dave Lisch and Michael Rader :D

A beautiful gyuto with Dave's latest "Dragon" pattern - "Dragon Feather", expertly ground by Michael and handled with curly Koa and Ivory.

Michael made the display box as well, and sent along these pictures....the knife will be arriving shortly :D:D

That is a thing a beauty - love the dragon / feather combo. Congrats Bill!

Thanks Bill, that came out very nice. when Mike told me he wanted a blade to make a knife for you I was thrilled to get some more of my steel into your collection, so I sent him this blade 2nd in the fighting dragon series. remember the first one showed the Dragons as they flew from their lair to begin the battle. this in my mind is the Dragons, still low to the ground fighting over a wind wiped field of grass. The next blade is sure to show a full battle of fighting Dragons in the night sky. Thank you all for your kind words.

gorgeous knife, everything flows so nicely. Dave and Michael sure are a great team.

Thanks Bill. I hope you can take better pictures of this than I can :-( It looks better in person for sure.

Dave, what are your plans for the Night-Sky-Fighting-Dragons damascus? Hmmmm???

So the postman came by today......

and delivered the knife itself :D

As you might expect, it is even more beautiful in person, and the balance is just superb !

Michael's presentation box is exquisite as well...I will have to get the whole package to Coop, since my photo skills are sadly lacking compared to this baby :p

I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the Dragon Saga !!!

Thanks guys

Bill
