I collect Buck USA folders. I'm looking for a list of just USA folders. I've tried to use the one off the Buck collectors site but it includes fixed blades and Chinese knives. Verification is off eBay which isn't a very good source. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance

I've got an idea. Why not make a list of the ones you know about and the folks here can try and fill in with the knives that are not yet on your list.
Or you can pick a series , say 300 for example. and go from there.

Sawgrass, will edit my post as we were posting at same time. First off, what is Joe's definition of a folding knife. You pointed him in the right direction for 110/112s. But what about all the other numbers and a few un-numbered ? i.e. 200s,300s,400s, 500s see what I mean ? I bet we are talking 75 + models of just folders, not counting all the variations of the 110,112 world and then there are special projects, such as I could win the lottery and then have Buck make me a 300Bucks model 303 with s30v and elk horn. Naturally, I would have plenty made and sell them to all of you below my cost.....

Original post.
Boy, that will be a list. I don't think I have ever seen a complete list of Buck folders day one till now. If someone has one they worked to make themselves, you may have to buy them dinner and tell them their pretty to get a copy. Maybe someone has done this and will share. Will be interesting to see. You will be talking from post WW2 to today.......Good Luck 300Bucks

I wasn't thinking of all the variations and special projects, just the basic number . The 75+ is pretty close 300 because I have about 70 right now and not got every one that I know of. There are a couple that were originally issued a number early on then later Buck made another knife with the same number designation.

I kinda been wondering the same thing. I'm interested I'm traditional folders (I.e. steel frame, no studs or assisted opening.)
Is the a resource listing production dates for regular production knives? Not necessarily I'm detail (though that would be nice) but just a description of the name or model#, year introduced, discontinued, that sort of thing?

REDCANOE,
I agree with 300Bucks. I think I would suggest choosing a very limited number of models and to keep upgrading your collection. You could even have more than 1 full collection of your limited scope. I like to keep the scope of my collections limited to some knives that I have great interest in. Just my thoughts. Enjoy collecting Bucks.

You could join the BCCI club for $10 a year and go to are site and look up all the
folding Buck knives you want... and other cool stuff... You would be amazed what
you could learn about Buck Knives for just a few dollars... ;)

Armand, you blinked and time moved on..... annual membership is now $25 ... :D

OK, Let me clear up something in this thread.

You CAN have a yearly *electronic only* membership in the Buck Collectors Club for, get ready now, just $ 10. Again, this is electronic communication only. You will receive nothing in the mail. This is made possible because of the high price of mailing regular memberships paper communications to your home.

Again, yes Armand is correct, for only $10 a year you can go 'paperless' and be a member of the Buck Collectors Club. You will have all the benefits of being a member, but all interaction will be via computer.

To further sweeten this treat, a new website with lots of improved features, even a BCCI store, is on the way and will be a reality likely by fall.

300Bucks

Too bad there's no e-registration for the e-membership. I'd rather take a beating than deal with paper.

Guess I'll wait for the new site.
