I know Brown is trying to catch up so I don't want to add to his load. I just need a simple left hand, black kydex for a mean street. Thanks

P.S. the search is being a pain tonight.

my kydex shaper of choice is brian wagner of okuden.

he uses a scale retention system, and the knife has an audible "click" when secured and when unsheathing.

as with any craftsman in demand, you may have to wait a while, but it will have been well worth it.

btw, his forum handle is "OKU".

Jeff Law has some nice looking sheaths there, leather and Kydex. Thanks! I'll add him to my list.

Member David E does Kydex. www.kytac.com. I have not handled one, but some folks have posted pics here. His are the "handle retention" style.

KYTAC WWW.KYTAC.COM 405-844-6040 is the absolute best, I carry one of his for a mean street right now, The thing I like the most is that there is no wasted kydex. All the others seem to have other things I did not like. Check it out you will be impressed.

@405 -- I had the same concern as you have with David Brown. So I asked him directly if he could take on more work and his response was, "You bet let me know what you would like & I will get it done."

He's been a straight-up guy and has done the best work for me, and so he got my newly-purchased Skelly Warden earlier this week (I haven't even touched it yet!)

I know it'll be worth it even though I'm at the end of the queue.
