Thanks to all. Giveaway is not over. Winner is post #54.

Lots of great made-in-the-USA product ideas.

I noticed that I'm coming up on 3,000 post and decided to give away the used blue Victorinox Spartan shown, plus the little razor knife I got with an order from Knifeworks. I'll pick the winner next Saturday afternoon using a random number generator.

With your post, please tell me about something you like that is made in the USA. New Balance makes some shoes in the USA, for example, and I'd like to get together a list of American made alternatives for some of the things I buy. I know it's ironic to giveaway a Swiss item for this, but I want to keep my Spydercos and Bucks.

New Balance is actually a company I'm pretty keen towards. Their shoes always seem to fit my feet perfectly, whereas other brands tend to need a breaking-in period that is a little painful.

My favorite, made in the USA products, are Oakley sunglasses. I'm not sure about some of their other products, but all sunglasses are made in the USA! Thanks for the GAW, and congratulation on 3000 posts!

Buck knives, Case knives and Estwing hatchets come to mind immediately:cool:
I think Queen cutlery. Faiaoga

Since many brands like craftsman, husky, and kobalt are now largely made in china. I've become a huge fan of snap-on tools. IMO they make the best hand tools and they're made right here in the usa. Thanks for the chance to win the Spartan.

Wolverine also has some great boots 100% made in the US.

Hex Armor gloves are a fun one. Made in USA gloves designed to be the best protective gloves you can get, short of chainmail gauntlets. They've got a ton of models that protect from impacts, cuts, stabs, burns, etc.

buy local, then buy national...then screw china...

also thanks for letting me get in on this, most of these have a post requirement and as a new guy i don't post alot, as i don't have anything to add to the conversation, I'm mostly in learning mode...i mean i'm sure i could get 200 posts, but none of them would be any good..haha

Buck Knives
Weber grills
Tabasco sauce

(I used to have a SAK spartan, but it was confiscated when I got on the ferry boat to tour Ellis Island) So does USA made paranoia count?
