Saturday I had a Bro come over to do Birthday shopping for a fellow knifemaker. So I gave him a deal of a life time. Stabilized Springbok horn and India stag, plus a 5' piece of 1084 @ 1" X 3/16", all for $20. Now the sucker leaves my shop without paying me. I had to chase him down at a knife show today to get my $$$. That sucker has fish hooks in his pockets holding in his $$$$. Nice Guy ???
I give you his initials BBBBB Beaver.HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!

Got another deal like that? I got $20!

Your pal sounds like one of those guys with a moth sanctuary in his wallet :D

Dude, when he opens his wallet (not very often) it looks like a swan of bee's coming out of it.

Uh, yeah, if pay me $20 I'll drink your beer all night.

My wallet doesn't have any moths in it... all you hear when I creak it open is crickets off in the distance... :(

if it was her chihuahua i would just pick him up and move him out of the way. if it cost me any money to use the bathroom stall i would just crawl under the stall door.

Ain't got time right now to refute what IG has said,,,,,I'll get back to ya, but for now we'll call it a senior moment :D

OK here's the real story.

I went over to IG's to pick up the birthday presents for Kook. Of course I brought over a 6 pack of some real beer. After a bull$hit session we went into IG's storage area and picked out some very nice handle material and a couple of bars of 1084. Wa..Wa..Wally wanted to show me the new blower he had bought, as the type that are powering his forges now are no longer avaiable. Well don't ya know that he couldn't find it. We (he) looked around for a couple of hours and still could not find it. I really couldn't hang in until it was found, and when I left his house, I was still laughing about George's lack of memory. Don't you know, as I'm driving down the highway, I remember that I didn't pay him, and knowing that I would see him at the knife show I figured I would just pay him then. Just after that thought, my cell phone rings, and of course it's IG busten my chops about not paying.

Well Sunday rolls around and I see IG at the knife show and I certainly pay him off, 'cause I always pay my debts :D . At the show, IG had brought another person, Shawn, with him. IG tells me that Shawn had a blower for sale, one that had never been used, and wouldn't you know that the blower is the same model that is no longer around. I hooked up with Shawn and purchased that blower for my other forge. Why IG didn't buy it,,,,well let's just call it another Senior Moment.

Thanks IG for not buying Shawn's blower, and thanks especially for giving me a good deal on those pieces. By the way, IG also gave Kook a present of some really nice bookmatched rosewood slabs and a set of bloodwood slabs. Kook really apreciated all those gifts that he received for his 59 th birthday.

PS IG you old $hit, did you find that blower yet

BBBB Beaver, the damn blower was sitting on the top of my 12" disc-grinder. So it was the blind leading the blind Saturday.:jerkit:
And that blower from Shawn, I did buy it because you said that Kook was looking for one. If I would of known that you were going to keep it, you wouldn't of even seen it.:grumpy: :D
