Little Bear Bowie

SR,
Based purely on the "all thin" spacers, which started in 1984,I would put it at no older than that.
From your pics,I see the red spacers look to be the dull red,and the blue spacer has slightly faded to a greenish grey.
The fading of the blue was common in the early 80's.

Not sure how long the dull red lasted, maybe a few years, others on here could tell you more.
I would say your knife was made in the mid 80's.
The original sheath could have been either a Johnson Rough Back or an early Sullivan with smooth baby dot snaps.

Post a pic of the sheath if you can, someone on here will tell you if its the real deal or not.
Best case is it's the correct one, worst case is you have to find one.

Hope this helps:thumbsup:

Yes helps a great deal, thanks
seems this sheath may indeed be correct and place it mid-late 80s?697FAF58-1191-40B3-B010-66A44B4CB82D.jpegD350F3CF-6F28-4590-B8DC-B30625BE3A0B.jpeg
