Little bit of TGLB inspiration going on over at tops?

Saw that in a magazine about a month ago... TGLB was the first thing I though of.

Crazy that doesn’t look like a tops to me or I mean I would not be able to pick it out as a tops knife though I could definitely say it’s not Busse.

Only Busse inspired apparently ;)

That Zero Dark 30 model, definitely looks kind of like a Battle shark

Looks like another "Ka-bar built for the zombie apocalypse" inspired type of blade to me.

It looks like they definitely took "inspiration" from Busse...To me, it seemed kind of crossing the line that they not only put out a very similar style ---profile wise, not quality, think general shape---but also put the talon holes in the guard (even though they squashed them a bit compared to Busse).

I give them a thumbs down in the etiquette and decorum departments

Ugly blade , TGLB clone, naawwww. There are millions of knife designs there will always be overlap.

Dual guards a fuller and a Handle don’t equal a stolen design.

The only thing I like about it is that it'. 30 thick, oh and Red liners on zero dark 30

The handle looks like it would be about as ergonomic as the inside of a blender.... yup it’s a Tops.:p

Just saying when I think tops I think black blade black linen micarta not whatever this is lol. I've only owned a Tracker and one other, the name eludes me now, but I sold them both when I got into Busse ;):thumbsup:

I agree, but seriously they have to make the least comfortable handles of any production company in the world, and this handle looks like it would feel terrible. :)

Edit: in fact, everything about it looks terrible. What in the world is with the grind? Everything that looks great on a TG—the fuller, guards, and handle, look absurd here.

Uhmm yeah...well I have one Tops knife, that Rangers edge dagger. The only reason I am going to keep it is because my Father got it for me for Christmas last year, he thought I would like it. Also I guess actual Rangers have used it in Afghanistan. Their marketing for the knife said so. It got me to wanting a real dagger and luckily for all of us, Busse has something brewed up.
