Here is the first knife that I've made in a while due to school sorry for the bad pics
Steel 1095 heat treated with clay coating, you can see the visible hamon line
Hot blued finish w/ filework
Wood is double dyed box elder.
It has a black liner and nickle silver pins and guard.
Lenght 6.75 inches
Blade thickness .125

Very interesting knife. The in hand photo shows a beautiful knife. I would shoot this knife out of the shadows so that all it's subtleties like the hamon line and the warmth of the elder reflected in the guard could be more easily seen. Really nice knife, nice change of pace.
 
I like the blue coating on the steel. the handles are outstanding as well. The hamon line stand out great. Nice looking work. Thanks for posting it to see. A+--------------:thumbup:
