I've seen these before on some ARs. The pic that shows the Kydex holster for the AR on one my Mick's posts show it clearly. It looks like a 1-1/2" or so braidy thing.

Hey Shelby....Merry Christmas buddy!!
Say, the item you are speaking about is the rigger's lanyard that is present on SOME of the folders/SLCC that have been sold/released by Strider. I have one on my Titanium SLCC and on my GB...I specifically asked, as a favor, for these. Some of the other guys may have just been lucky!;)

Hope that Santa was good to you...or maybe you have some left over funds for your OWN present!:D

Actually, I thought it was a square sennet myself, but I could be wrong of course...

Joe,

Good to hear from you too my friend. Happy holidays!
I hope I will cross paths and grab the riggers lanyard one day. I am not in grave need of it but anything to add to my ar would be awesome. Thanks for the info!

Take Care,
Shelby

Hi, I'm not familiar with this lanyard. Could someone post a link that shows a picture? Thanks, SOX

Shelby,

Here is a link on how to tie the knot.

Read it a few times, print out the pictures, and then practice, practice, practice.

It takes a little while for the instructions to sink in but it CAN be done.

Even I could figure it out. ;)

Shelby, print my post out or sit in front of your computer while you do it. Once you get the first two steps done(the two overhand knots) you will eventually figure it out if you experiment a little. The key to a nice finished not is to pull very tight on every step. Practice a couple on your key ring until you get it like you want. Once you figure it out it seems real simple.

Shelby,
They are very easy to make. They are square sennets. They would look better (in my opinon) on a folder if you take the guts out of the 550 cord before you tie it. Shelby, I'll make you one if you want. It's really no sweat. They look good two tone, black and green. Let me know if you want one.

Thanks guys for giving me encouragement. I must have tried to tie the sennet around 13 times before I stuck my head into the ground and waited for a truck to nail me in the arse. I shall give one final attempt.

Vinnie,

I'm gonna give it one last try. If I can't get it, I'll be contacting you:) I really appreciate your generosity of time and effort.

Thanks, brothers.
