Anyone like the small buck lockbacks? I'm talking about knives like the gent, knight and mini-buck. Buck really makes these knives like little tanks for they're size and there was one in my pocket a lot as a little kid.

Anyone have any that they want to show? These knives really aren't talked about to much.

here's one of mine, a buck 529 "buckskin". It's a replacement of the one I had as a kid.

Oregon, I was eyeballing the engraved silver and gold knife. It's a beauty! I'd never carry or use it though. It's like a museum piece.

Great looking knives guys. Yes, the small Buck lockbacks are my favorites too, especially when goin lite, or wearing dress pants. I actually had an Executive in my pocket when I went out to dinner Sat nite. Most of mine have been used, but there are a couple of queens.

I've carried the well worn Executive 2nd from bottom for many yrs. I keep it very sharp and it has made some folks take notice of its size / ability factor. Had a nice Knight for many years that I lost at work, and replaced with the nice shiny one in the pic.

I mirror polished the one Executive by hand, just to see how it would come out. The other Executive with the '84' on it is interesting. Its like new, and I got it for dirt cheap on ebay. It had the date, a guy's initials, and "crave the frontier" engraved on it. Must have been a graduation gift or something. I sanded out all of the engraving except the '84', and may mirror polish it or engrave something of my own on it at some point.

Great knives, good thread. Here are a few pics I took a while ago. Didn't have my Ultima yet, but it would look nice along side the others.

I'm not a big, little knife lover, feel too small in my pocket. I like big honkin folders. That being said, I seem to accumulate a fair amount for someone not that keen on them:D

I have a little mini Buck 425 that lives in my tackle box. I just sharpened it up the other day and thought to myself what an unsung little champ it is.

521 mfg. 1993. Same length as Bucklite 424 (just over 6.5" overall when open). Stainless Steel.

do you guys think that the handle scales on the "Buckskin" knives with peel off if actually carried? I would love to use mine but I'm afraid of this happening. I'm debating on just getting a buck knight for a sturdier knife, but I really love these 529's.

Great collections / pictures! I'm not as much of a collector, but I was searching for an EDC (Ha! There was that time when I thought I just needed "a" knife) and ended up at bladeforums. I determined that a buck would be the perfect EDC since they're not too threatening for the general public. I've got some 501s, 503s, 505s, 110s, 112s. They're nothing special, just the basic models. I've mostly settled on carrying a 501, although the 112 Ecolite gets some pocket time.

The pictures in this thread show some beautiful knives, but even the basic bucks are nicely made and nice looking tools.

I think you can use it til the blade wears off.

This 440C 501 was a foundling. It had been "ridden hard and put away wet", but it still gets pocket time on occasion.
