Finally finished up one of the many projects I have on the bench.

3.25" blade of random 1084/15n20 Forge finished flats.
7" long OAL
Stabilized koa handle
Nickel silver guard and domed pin.

Comments and critique welcome as always.
Thanks for looking.

Darcy,

Very nice work, I like everything about it!

How many layers did your billet start out with?

Great little knife. Love the material and texture contrasts.

This was a leftover chunk off the end of a 120-ish layer billet that I decided was big enough for a small blade. I had to trim off a weld flaw(common, for me at least, at the very end of the billet) to get all clean steel, so I figure I ended up around 80 layers or so. That's also why there is so much variation in the pattern from one side to the other. It was just an odd shaped chunk off the end of the billet.... I like random damascus:D

Thanks guys.

Darcy:)
