Little fat hunter

P.K., It looks great.I have made a few similar in design and found I liked it better with a bolster.Nice work,Dave.:)

Looks real nice, I dont get all the hubbub about weight and balance. If it's sharp and looks good, who cares.
Mark

P K that's a tight little handful! Looks like a great palm hunter, just what you're looking for in those tight quarters. Personally, I think the bolsters are well balanced but who am I to argue with the wife?! I have learned my lessons well. :D You sure got a beautiful finish on them - on the whole package. Great work, thanks,

Dave

I hate to disagree with your wife but.....I gotta go along with everyone else. I can't imagine it being any better outfitted!

I like the knife. The bolsters in question are perfect for engraving. An instant classic.

Sorry, PK, but I agree with your wife.

You just send that ugly little thing right on here to me and I will be sure she never has to look at it again.

It is also WAY too shiny!

Dave

Thanks Dave.
I'm so glad you'll help me get rid of it. :D
Thanks to all of you guys - I wont show your replies to the wife though. She's pregnant, and many of you know how they can be then = :grumpy::mad: :(

When I saw the topic of your thread I thought you were talking about me! Nice knife too, by the way. It looks great.

One word of advice is in order. Don't use the word "fat" while your wife is pregnant. They tend to be a little sensitive about it!

C Wilkins

I wish you would have given me that advice sooner Wilkins - I found out the hard way :footinmou

I will have to agree with everybody else,The Bolsters look great and just enhance the beauty of this little knife.

Heck I have found that you never want to use the word fat around a woman at any time pregnant or not,They will remind us of our ever growing bellies in not so nice of terms also if we do:D
Years ago Donna would say "Now that is one of your ugliest knives you have ever made" and I would just say thank you..This was because whenever she would say that it would be the first knife to sell at the next show, and it proved itself more than once.
I have found that if a working knife is to pretty people tend to not use them.So let her say that it isn't as pretty as others then you will know a guy will like it.Guys like bold-rugged-manly things anyway;)
Bruce

The knife looks great to me. I would prefer a flat grind; but then again, I always prefer a flat grind. :)

Oh, and when it comes to women, two subjects to always avoid: Age and weight.
