Little Froe Concerns

I made this little (well not that little, spine is 3/16, about 6-6.25” blade length) Froe this week but have concerns. My buddy wanted a Hamon, so I used 1095, 6 normalizing (thermocycles) from 1600 down to 3x at 1400, quenched at 1500. Tempered at 400. I had figured with a differential heat treat it would still make a good chopper. I’ve now considered the edge size and high carbon content of 1095 and hitting wood with it now has me second guessing if the blade won’t chip. It was about .25 mm when sharpened.
