Weather was pretty nice here today, High of 71, 12 MPH West wind and mosly sunny. You don't get many of these in ND. so I made the most of it. We have a nice hiking trail that starts out in the park and winds out top the buffalo pasture. I snapped a few shots as I went along. This is along a ox bow on the James River up here. Took The JK Anniversary knife along just in case.

Doesn't get much better than that in ND.

A few more along the way. For those who don't know that I don't walk very well, The last shot is a picture of my improved legs.:D The trail is about six miles long and ends in the frontier village, Bring a big gun for this buffalo.:D

Really cool pics Jim, I really like shots like that second one...they spark the imagination.

Thanks, This is a really pretty area, there are two rivers that wind right through town. There are several more hiking trails that are much rougher than this one.

It's great to see that summer landed on a saturday. The years that it is on a weekday I always feel bad for all the folks that have to miss out on it.:D
Seriously though, I need to get out that way. There is a place in Mandan that has a fantastic Knoephla recipe and I'd love some right now.

I like that we have a river that winds through this city too. I have a hundred different places I can sit beside it...lol some of them in peace even.

I am almost always here if you get through again. I just came through Mandan a few days ago. My grandkids are a ways north east of there.

I'll be sure to let you know.
