Here's a rough prototype of something I've had in the works for a while, finally got time to make it. Looking to produce some out of high grade aluminum or Ti depending on feed back.
Knuckle, bottle opener, prybar. Fits full hand comfortably, could be a little thicker. This is 3/16th D2 tool steel

Cool. But I don't think aluminum would work well as a prybar or bottle opener.

with the right design, aluminum will handle bottles, but neither aluminum or Ti are the best for prying (although with the right alloy it is possible, you just trade bulk for weight)

So just stick with steel? It's really not that heavy and I can always cut some mass out of the center (like with a full tang knife) and go from there

cutting out some internals would give it more of a "tool" look, as well as take some weight. a tapered nail-puller notch, a wire bend/break notch or hole. Another thought would be to do a bit of a distal taper over the entire length so that the "back" end is just a little wider for hammering. although that would make it harder to produce.

If you were to sharpen the deep end of the bottle opener notch it could also be used as a cord/seatbelt cutter. And yeah, I'd stick with steel (just my opinion).
