Not really a full 'review', but...
Found this at a sporting goods store recently:

Made in Germany by Richartz...mainly a maker of 'swiss army' types:
http://www.richartz.com/htxs/e_index.html.

1.75" blade of German Solingen 'Rostfrei'.
Blade is quite thin, but came with a toothy final bevel, which I polished up with
various grit strops, so it's now shaving sharp and smooth.
Handle is rubberized so it's grippy, and the lock-up is solid with no play.
F&F is so-so, but the little knife is quite solid, overall, and worth the $14 I paid for it.
Makes a good companion in the collection to the Mini-Buck, Case Small Caliber, Case Mini Blackhorn, Gerber LST, etc.

A local brick and mortar had several smallish German lockbacks in their bargain bin a while ago by Richartz. They seemed pretty decent overall, and were pretty old stock, as far as I could tell. They don't seem to be widely available in the US.

If the steel holds its edge well (too early to tell yet on mine) then they may, indeed, be a 'bargain'.
The Richartz website does not show this type lockback, and I only found one internet reference to this (or similar) Ultrablade, which is where the above pic came from:

The little thing has stainless liners (not a solid FRN body, like the Mini-Buck, etc), and a somewhat strange blade-to-handle angle when open...another pic of the same knife from maxxknives.com:

Also, forgot to mention: no nail-nick.
It's meant to 'pinch-open', and does so very smoothly.

All-in-all, I like it. :)
