Hi Everyone,

Here are some of the knives I will be taking to the Little Rock Show.
standard.jpg

The 7 3/4" damscus blade is forged from 1084 and 15N20. The handle is Curly Koa and the guard and fittings are nickel silver. The overall length is 12 3/4".

The 7 1/8" blade is forged from 1084. I used a clay coating in the quench for the hamon. The handle is Beeswing Narrah and the guard and fittings are nickel silver. Over length is 11 7/8" the handle on this one is a bit deceptive, it has a nice palm swell and flares out towards the end to fill the hand nicely.

The 4 3/16" damascus blade is forged from 1084 and 15N20. the handle is walrus ivory and the guard is nickel silver. The overall length is 7 7/8".

The 3 3/4" blade is forged from W2. The handle is a frame construction with nickel silver wrapping the tang. The guard and pins are also nickel silver witha blued mild steel spacer. The handle material is desert ironwood. Overall length is 7 3/8".

Edited to add specs.

That damascus bowie is really nice. They are all nice, but that one just seems to have the best balance to me. Well, that one and the hunter.

Hey Craig,

Nice knives as always. I'm pretty partial to that Beeswing Narrah knife even though I don't have the first waking clue what Beeswing Narrah is.

Have a great show my friend.

Roger

Great knives Craig. (hey, your picture taking is getting better!) I especially like the walrus ivory handled knife and the curly koa bowie.

Thanks for the comments evreyone. I look forward to seeing some of you at the show.

I don't know much about the beeswing narrah either. I got it from Mike at WSSI. The picture doesn't show it well. It is a deep looking wood, it looks very 3D. It has stripes going one directionand then it looks like there are stripes under them going different directions giving a very nice visual effect to the wood.

As far as my picture taking ability it is still suspect. I have found thatif you go onto my front porch atabout 1 hr before sunset it has the pretty good lighting. Anyplace else or any other time of the day and my pics are still terrible. ;) :p

Hi Craig,

I can see a bit of the multi-directional banding in the wood from your pic. No doubt it would look that much more cool in person. Your picture quality is still well ahead of Danbo's, so don't sweat it. ;)

Bahahahaha! I was thinking the same thing! Didn't Craig have a pic of his big toe in one of his shots, or am I thinking of someone else?

dang....that one in the top pic looks just like one I'm taking with me too.....

Great work!!!

p.s. where can I find information on the show?

Just realized I have no idea where it's located....:o
(I'll be coming down 540 to Fort Smith, then East to Little Rock)
