From the 9/16 Deals:
"15 inch 15 ounce Sirupati by Bura. Great effort by Bura. 5 minutes rust."

Well, when Uncle Bill and Yangdu mention "great effort" I know I'll pay extra close attention, because this sirupati is a real gem. I have not seen another khukuri with such a perfectly executed blade. No ripples anywhere whatsoever, perfect symmetry and amazing edge hardness. I tried my trusty German sharpening steel to tweak the nearly sharp edge and couldn't do a thing with it! My testing on cardboard boxes usually leaves some fine scratches on the edge bevels, but not even a hint of a scratch was left on this steel! It will be a bit more effort to get it scary sharp, but I know this one will keep its edge extremely well.

Thank you Bura, Yangdu and Uncle Bill for this beautiful and awesome knife!

That falls into the ounce per inch ratio that Rusty is so fond of. I'm sure there's something to it or Rusty wouldn't be so hep on it.:D The little Sirupates have a lot going for them! I had a 17" village Sirupate that made me want to get nekkid and dance with it. ;)
