Here's a knife I just finished, that I originally intended to be a companion knife for one I made last year. I call it Little Sistah, because it's made from the same canister-damascus blank that Indian George gave me last year.

The 4.5" blade is IG cannister damascus made of 1084, chainsaw chain, and nickle. The handle is stripey snakewood. The fittings are fire-blued steel, and solid copper, lightly aged and patinated.

Sometimes you just have to make something like this merely for the pleasure of it.

that is a very stylin' blade. Nice design and execution.

Damm J, now thats just inspiring! Beautiful work! I really like the stippling on the copper and the filework on the blade, but the whole package goes together wonderfully.
Great Job!

Exotic design, great execution! Looks like it might be very comfortable with the right size hand.
