Here's a little slicer that I just completed as a custom order. It has a 3" blade, and is 7" overall. Plungeless grind on some THIN 15N20 steel. I left the handle nice and grippy as per the request, and built a horizontal belt sheath.

Wow, really neat! Would be a good pearing knife or even a bird and trout. I love the sheath, very neat!

Thanks guys.

I agree it would be a great kitchen or b&t knife. I like the horizontal sheath too. You almost forget it's on your belt, its so small.

Being a bit of a newb...a newb question. Isn't there a risk of the knife falling out of the sheath? i have vertical friction fit sheaths and I worry about thode knives falling out.

With a properly formed sheath, there is no chance of it falling out. You may know this...but you get the leather wet and form it to the knife, kinda like a fiberglass cast, so it forms to all the knives features so it won't budge.

There's no way this particular knife is coming loose. The fit is very tight.
