I know it is not a knife sheath but something I made up real quick for a new tablet I just purchased. I figured why pay for a tablet case when i can make something. I wanted to make it look older, and I ran out of dye lol. So here it is.

No, but I do plan to make another that has the opening from the narrow side that I plan to wet mold somewhat and line with some cotton or microsuede or microfiber.

Way cool idear there man! You should start a few of those in various colors to match some of the Chromebooks and other small hand helds. You'd be busy busy in no time I'm tellin' ya. Soak those some and start impressing some designs into them and you can step it up even more. Imagine one with a felt lining or non static layer even for electronics, separate cord pocket and charger and a handle and you are up town in handmade apparel. When I sold dental equipment and carried a lap top in the last seven years there before retiring it was not uncommon to carry my stuff in something small and personal that had just what I needed for orders you know. Pad, pen and pencil, calander or whatever and my lap top. That tote would be dang handy on small desk spaces and office front desk areas for active sales people that focus on small utility items but they have to be classy. Finding all that together can be tough and here you are making em! I'd have one of those for my own Chrome book. In fact if you go to making some let me know. I'll want it.

Thanks for the kind words, the stitching is horrible but like i said I whipped it together really quick. I did not glue it up so i could easily take apart if needed, which I intend to do, want to narrow it a little bit, line it, and put a pouch on the back side. As for the selling them, I won't talk about that until I get my subscription and after I am satisfied with the quality.

Off topic: How are the Chromebooks? I'm a Linux lover and have been eyeballing the Chromebooks a little for a little bit

Oh it works fine for me for checking emails and that. I browse some but mostly I got it to use the Chromecast for the TV so I can watch Youtube, netflix, HBO/Showtime and Hulu all on my big screen through the wireless. Best $40 I've spent was that chromecast. with the chrome book its really pretty cool. The chromebook becomes a remote able to control volume, pause, fast forward or rewind and so on. We like it a lot for that. Otherwise eh! Its cheap we did like that. I think after the rebate she got it for me for like 200 bucks and a warranty for three years.
