Here is some of what I'm taking to Dallas this weekend.
"RHINO flipper" for SOS preview
Well, I've been busy with my straight knives for too long. Finally got some time to work on my RHINO flipper folders. Here's what I'll have at SOS, Sorry it isn't for sale,,, yet!!!! But it will be! This one isn't completed, didn't know if I'd get another chance to get to the forums before I leave for Dallas. So, I 'm posting what I have to this point.
9 1/2" open length
5 1/4" closed
3/16" S30V blade hollow ground with false edge
textured G-10 scales
18-8 stainless screws in handle
Titanium frame (also the lock)
heat treated pivot
Critical feedback appreciated,
This group I call Chameleon TAC's, ( handle reminded me of a chameleon when I first drew them out).
Specs:
all are 12" OAL 1/4" thick with 7" hollow ground blade
slabs are black G-10 with stainless bolts
blade spines have thumb serrations
bead blast satin finish
double guard is S30V, other two are 154CM
critical feedback welcome.
Thanks for looking,
Lee
