As a resident of Cattaraugus County I’ve often wondered why this region doesn’t have a good knife show or any event celebrating knives, especially because KaBar, Case, GEC (and up until recent years Queen, and Ontario) are still operating. Sure they have their own respective gatherings but the knife show scene around here stinks. All of the sportsman’s shows are filled with junk, meaning both overpriced worn out “collectibles” or gas station specials so I’m wondering where all the classic knives made in this region exist.

There has to be amazing collections waiting to be shown so I’m hopeful that this new venture for the area will produce a lot more than tables filled with cutting boards and goat milk soap! They’re claiming it to be a pretty big show from the sounds of this article but this is the first I’ve heard of it and can’t find much more information on it! Feel free to update as this event gets closer!

They've been advertising in Knife Magazine since Christmas. I spoke with Brad Lockwood, who is putting the show on, and he's very optimistic that it will be a good turnout. He said he even got Case to endorse the show and "unofficially sponsor" the event. It's a close drive for me, so I'll be attending, and hope it is a great event that can happen every year. Brad said they are also putting on a dinner and tours of the area for those interested.

I’m definitely looking forward to it. It’s easy to impress people around here with something new so I’m hoping for a good knife turnout vs just people through the entrance.

For those who are considering attending, here are some details.

Fascinating, some how, the drive to titusville is shorter than the drive to little valley,ny from south brooklyn by like 20 minutes according to google.

Hmm... A bit over 3 hour drive is not out of hand ...

This sounds like a tempting idea. Thank you for the post!
