Little Wing Tang?

Gang- I just received a nib 422, thank you Hank, and the tang has a little wing to it. That wings knocks off that sharp edge that was on the 422 that Duane sent me. How new is this idea? I like the evolution of anything.

Are you talking about something like this? If so that was explained. When they made the build outs, rather than going to one more step of using a greased belt to shave them off, they skipped it and left them on. If this isn't what you are talking about, forget everything I said and ignore the picture.
