Got to catch the flick the other day, liked it, a good romp, some scenes are
a little over the top, but, it is an action flick but one scene with the plane seemed
TOO much to believe, I'll not elaborate for those that haven't seen it yet.

On other forums that review films, I read they were upset that the use of bad
language was missing from this film, that it makes the film, for me, just the opposite.

Their argument was there are people getting killed, so why tone down the
language?

My argument to that is, some of those people needed to be killed, they were
"bad men" so the "good guys" really didn't have a choice in how to fight back
but, they do have a choice not to resort to foul language just for effect.

My youngest daughter, now 15, I wince when I watch a movie with bad
language when she's with me. Where the violence, when required is understandable/expected,
I'm not talking about the slasher movie stuff, but action films like the die hard series.
So this one will be one that I'll buy for the collection.

just my 2 cents, I recommend the movie if you like a good action flick, it did
make me wonder just how safe our country is from terrorist though!

Thanks for the review Gary, planning on seeing it this afternoon, good to hear it's entertaining!

as good or better than any of the other three imo. as mr graley said, there are a few over the top parts, but cmon, its die hard lol. its pretty hard to go too over the top. but yea, good story line/plot i thought, and some very good stunt scenes/special effects. id definitely recommend it.

I am really looking forward to seeing it, not sure when I will get the chance, but I do want to see it. Steven

Yipie kayay MF!!! Loved it. True about the reality of how we can get invaded by hackers and be really screwed.

there is something wrong with our society when you can kill hundreds of people in a movie, but show some boobage or say motherfucker and suddenly it's unfit for children

i saw a clip from this movie with a hi tech room that looks like a guy from CA would have.:D

Will probably see it this weekend; really looking forward to it.

(This might add a little bit to your enjoyment of the Willis franchise, or it might not ;) - Bruce Willis is one of the nicest, most generous "stars" you could ever hope to meet. My son worked with Bruce on "16 Blocks" and Willis - and director Richard Donner - treated him like family. I've written for enough entertainers to know that what you see on the screen or in interviews is often nothing like how that person is in real life. He doesn't like the term, but in our family, Willis really is a star.)

I have been wanting to this movie since I first saw the trailers for it!!! I LOVE the Die Hard movie!!

Holger, that is really cool about Bruce Willis!! Now I like him even MORE!

You know, I don't usually hang out in the community forum, but I saw that. :D :D

I haven't seen the film (nor do I have any immediate plans to) but that Mac geek guy is in it. I suspect that if I was actually in this story, I'd be that guy, except that I'd have one big ol' gun along with my 'puter.

Yes, I was also a fan of the actor before (Hey, I know he's not considered a "serious" actor by film snobs) but after "16 Blocks", I also became a fan of the man. In fact, my son just called Willis because we found out this afternoon that he and his group, The Accelerators, are playing at the end of the month at Casino Niagara (Niagara Falls). Of course we'll be there -- PARTY! :D

Wow, what a coincidence! We were just up to Niagara Falls today!
My daughter has never been there, so I took the day off and we drove up
from Gillett PA to take a looksee, rainy all the way up, but then it cleared up
her hair was a mess, we went behind the falls and it is quite wet there ;)

Not sure what it says about our society but there are limits about what you show or say in certain places. For instance, no boobage or bad language in the BFC Community Center subforum. Right yermon?
