I thought some of you might like to share the experience of the annual Kershaw/ZT warehouse sale with my girlfriend and I. I love this time of year, Ive been going for the passed 5 years. Every time I walk away with some amazing deals and awesome experiences. This will be my girlfriends third year coming with me and she loves it just as much as I do. Shes been saving a bit of money every check for it like a vacation fund. It was funny, last night as we were going to bed she was all giddy and said she couldnt sleep and that it felt like christmas. We got here at about 4:30 and there were already probably a good 50-60 people in front of us. At this point the line is getting pretty long and is about a city block long all together. The doors open at 9 so a few more hours and we should be getting real close! Anybody else here? Pictures to follow, my photobucket is hassling me this morning for some reason.

My day is bright and early tomorrow morning - keep us posted on what's there. I was excited for this year back in February with all of the emerson collaborations. I've heard the Kershaw colabs aren't so great but the ZT ones may be a different story. The big score would be if they had any of the ZT tomahawks.

Looks like we have about an hour left. Ill keep ya posted on how its looking. Ya im pretty stoked about the ZT/Emerson collaborations too. I really want to find a 620cf. If I could walk away with just that one, id be a happy man!

Good luck, guys! To the OP, that's really awesome how excited your girl gets for it

Sounds like a keeper!

Ya shes definately an awesome catch!

We just left and had an amazing time! There are a lot of reall good deals around but the ZTs seem to be going quick. Ill upload some pictures when I get home

Walking up to our spot in line at 4:30 am

Here's what the line looked like behind us a little while after we got there.

A couple rough shots of the craziness inside

A great time all around!

I was just there! Scored 2 ZT's and my dad got a ton of small folders and couple fixed blades. My first time there, and my dad's 3rd year.

Yep, your GF AND the knife are both good-lookin'. Hope you got the one you were after.
Hope you guys had a good time. I can't stand in line like that any more; ya gotta be young to do that stuff.

BTW, what's the knife your girlfriend is holding in the picture?

That would be a Bradley Kimura. Thomas gave her some balisong lessons last year. She practiced quite a bit throughout the year and is now able to twist a balisong in each hand at the same time. She was showing Thomas her skills at the time of this picture. I got a video of her doing it, if I can figure out how do a youtube video and post it I will

Cool thread. Thank you for the photos and descriptions of this annual three day event in my neck of the woods.

Parked in the Kershaw lot about 11:30 and left about 3:30 with most time spent in the outside line to get in and in the inside line to get out. Lots of great things to buy. I back on Sunday for a hat, G10 Cryo 2 and well I will see then.

Photos: 1. Outside, 2. entrance, 3-5 inside and notice blue gloved hands patching up a shopper (pic #5), 6. line out and 7. the loot:

8. Marines toy drive, you can donate when you pay for your items or you can contribute cash into the plexiglass container on their desk or both. A worthy cause. I met six, including one woman, and each received my thanks and a switchblade operating folding edc nail nip. Note the exit door to their right where you receive three new catalogs.

BTW, only the chive is marked as a blem. All of the others have no blemish, no blem XXXX marking and are new in box.

I encourage everyone to attend. The people are terrific and the products are outstanding.

Nice pictures looks like you got some cool stuff. I always love this time of the year, I had to pull sone strings to get the day off work. There was one guy there that brought his whole family all the way from Kansas for opening day!

I drove by after work this morning at 5:30 and decided to come back later. Got there at 2:00 and it took maybe an hour to get in. Grabbed a bunch of the Emerson collabs, a ZT 0100, a couple kitchen knives, an Injection 3.5, and new fingernail clippers. My son claimed the Emerson/Kershaw CQC8K :) Had a blast as usual and made a little donation to the Toys For Tots :D

Kansas! Now that's an enthusiast. What fun and excitement for everyone. I love it.

Here are a few more photos, 3 of the Dimension and 4 of the CQC, for your amusement:
