New to me is a Killa Zilla I picked up from a great guy from the forums. It was well loved but it's friggin' Infi so it'll buff right out ;). I decided to nude it up and see what happened. Here are the pics.

After initial stripping with paint/epoxy remover. It weren't pretty in the classical sense but looked friggin' mean.

After some 400 grit sandpaper and a scotchbrite pad, afterword took a leather strop to the edge.

I think it looks killer. Still has some Infi dimples but looks awesome, can be polished easily and is ready to take a beating.

Can't wait to see it when the scales dry off and you get that blade all nice and shiny like :D

The mircata is impressive material. It survived the chemical stripping with no ill effect, got saturated with Infi dust during sanding and all it took was dish soap and water to get it looking brand new. I love the look of G10 but the functionality of mircata. Thanks for all the positive comments so far.

I just sent it in to have it re-profiled to something a bit more efficient and easier to maintain with a sharpening. I'm excited to see the results; I don't think a convex edge is the best for these blades although it is a decent idea.
